Those of us who live in Bathurst, and those who visit our city are the inheritors of many wonderful gifts of heritage passed down to use from earlier generations. One of these, which we sometimes take for granted, is our abundance of impressive parks and gardens and open spaces. A centrepiece of this forward thinking was the creation of Machattie Park.
This book documents many things about the park and the people who worked in it to create such a beautiful place and space.
