This book was produced to mark the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon on the 9th November, 2008. It briefly tells the story of the Carillon from the first concept of a memorial statue, a bit like the one in the Boer War Memorial, to the imposing structure that was built during times of a great financial hardship during the depression.
This booklet will give those reading it an insight into how the Carillon was built, what took place and some of the background of those people who were part of this great occasion and building.
